TedTech Inc DBA Sitelink (“Sitelink”) offers a tool to manage building projects through the Sitelink platform by means of a web portal located at sitelink.ai (the “Portal”) and an application (the “Application”) that can be used on a computer or mobile device. This Privacy Policy explains how we at Sitelink collect, use, and disclose information about you through our websites (www.sitelink.ai), the Application, the Portal, and other online products and services (collectively, the "Services") or when you otherwise interact with us. Please also review the Terms of Service of the Site (the “Terms”). Terms capitalized but not defined herein have the meaning given to them in the Terms.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.
Collection of Information
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information that you provide us when you create an account and profile or when you purchase our Services or download the Application. Such information can include your name, email address, username, password, payment information (processed by a third-party payment processor), billing address, telephone number, role in your company or on a specific project, and other contact information. We also collect other information that you may provide or input through the Services, such as materials, data or documents you input or upload, or answers that you may provide to any surveys or questions on the Site, when you create and label on-site markers using the Service, when you reach out to us for product support, or when you otherwise interact with us.
Information About Your Use of the Services
Usage Information
We collect information about your use of the Services, such as when you perform actions in the Application or on the Portal, when you open issues and assign them to other users on your team, when you close open issues in order to provide relevant reports, progress updates, and notifications to you. We also collect general usage information about how you utilize our video calling and markup features, when you use the Sitelink platform, and your website activity to provide you with better customer service.
Automatically Collected Information
When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect information about you, including:
Log Information: We collect log information about your use of the Services, including the type of browser you use, app version, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.
Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information. With your consent, we may also collect information from your device’s camera and microphone, as well as from your device storage, to help you better use the mobile application and communicate with your team.
Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use different technologies to collect information, including cookies and web beacons. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular, and count visits. Web beacons are electronic images that may be used in our Services or emails and help deliver cookies, count visits and understand usage and campaign effectiveness. Location Information: In accordance with your device permissions, we may collect information about the precise location of your device when you are using the Application solely within a construction or build site in order to help you visualize your location within a planned structure or site. We do not collect location information from your device once you leave the build site. For more details, please see “Your Choices” below
Integrations with Other Services
You may have the option of integrating our Services with other services, technologies or platforms on your desktop, permitted websites and/or your mobile device. For example, you may choose to integrate your Sitelink account with a project management service, such as Procore. These integrations may require you to input information about you or access or use information about you. These integrations may (i) check for updates automatically and transmit your information to their server and/or engine; or (ii) send information entered into or accessed by the technology to its server and/or engine. Please note that any information you input into a third-party service will be subject to that service’s privacy policy and terms and that, as a part of that integration, we may obtain additional information about you.
Information We Collect from Other Sources
We may obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services. For example, we may collect information about you from third parties, including but not limited to integrated services and publicly available sources. Additionally, if you communicate with us through a social media site, we will have access to certain information from our interactions with you on that site, such as your name and any profile information you make available to us, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such social media site.
Use of Information
We may use information about you and other information internally – for example, to provide you with purchased services, to help diagnose technical problems, and to make the Services more useful for you and for our other customers. We also use information about you to:
Assign issues and tasks to others on your project;
Track and log user activity for project status update and performance purposes;
Allow you to communicate and revise on-site issues with your team;
Allow you to communicate with others on your project using the integrated video calling and features as well as the Sitelink presentation functionality;
Send you technical notices, notifications, updates, security alerts, support and administrative messages, and to respond to your comments, questions and customer service requests;
Communicate with you about products, services, offers, and events offered by Sitelink, and provide news and information we think will be of interest to you;
Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with our Services;
Detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of Sitelink and others;
Personalize and improve the Services and provide advertisements, content or features that match user profiles or interests; and
Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.
Sharing of Information
We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:
With vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf;
With other members of your project team including general contractors, developers, subcontractors, and consultants, together with whom you work and use the Services;
In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements;
If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property and safety of Sitelink or others;
In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company;
Between and among Sitelink and our current and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and other companies under common control and ownership; and
With your consent or at your direction.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you. For example, we may share aggregated data about how our users generally use the Services in order to visualize industry trends.
Analytics Services Provided by Others
We may allow others to provide analytics services on our behalf across Services. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Services, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in apps, links clicked and conversion information. This information may be used by Sitelink to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your online activity.
Data Retention
We store the information we collect about you for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which we originally collected it. We may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.
Users Around the Globe
Sitelink is based in the United States of America and also processes and stores information in the U.S. As such, we and our service providers may transfer your information to, or store or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. We will take steps to ensure that information about you receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.
Your Choices
Account Information
You may review, update, correct or delete the information provided in your registration or that you otherwise provided to us by contacting us at support@sitelink.ai. Please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.
Cookies
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of our Services.
Promotional Communications
You may opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the instructions at the bottom of those emails or by contacting us with your request at support@sitelink.ai. If you opt-out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
Device Content on the Application
With your consent, we may access information on your mobile device such as your camera, your microphone, and your device storage. You can always withdraw such access by going into your device settings and removing the Application’s access to that functionality. Please note that if you enable access and then remove that access, this could affect the availability and functionality of our Services and of certain features of the Application.
Location Information
When you first launch the Application, you will be asked to consent to the Application’s collection of this information. If you initially consent to our collection of location information, you can subsequently stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device. If you do so, our Application, or certain features thereof, may no longer function properly. You may also stop our collection of location information by following the standard uninstall process to remove our Application from your device
